ちび仮面ライダー (Chibi Kamen Rider) Cosplay

Hey all!

Today I’m going to teach you how to make a quick Mini / Chibi Kamen Rider 1 (ichigo) costume for your kid!

Stuff you need :-
- Green felt (got mine at Daiso)
- Seat sponge / insulation (got mine at Daiso)
- Plain black long sleeve tshirt
- Red fabric
- Glue (I used Uhu multi-purpose glue / any fabric glue would be best)
- Scissors
- Marker

 

Start of with outlining the pecs and abs of Kamen Rider Ichigo on a piece of paper and cut them out.

 

Next, trace the pecs and abs on the felt and start making dotted lines half an inch away from the original trace.
The original traced lines are where you’ll be gluing on later.
You would then want to cut along the dotted lines of each pecs and abs on 4 pieces of green felt.

 

Start gluing on the full lines and paste the opposite have of your pec or abs but ensure you make it into a pocket so you can start filling them with the seat foam / insulation.
Once you’ve got the desired amount of foam in, seal it, by gluing on the remainder lines.

 

Place the pecs and abs where you want it to be and glue them nicely on the edges on to the tshirt so when your kid wears it, it won’t float around.

 

Finally, get your kid to wear it and use the red fabric as Kamen Rider Ichigos scarf.
